Attendance & Exams
Attendance tracking that reaches the parent the same morning
An absence noticed on Friday is a record. An absence the parent hears about at 9:42 AM is an intervention. SCRMAI sends the WhatsApp alert automatically the moment a student is marked absent — and feeds the trend into drop-risk detection.

What it covers
Attendance, exams and the schedule around them
-
Student attendance
Mark attendance per session or per batch, with history retained per student and visible to parents in the portal.
-
Staff attendance
Track teacher and staff attendance in the same system, alongside teacher assignment and batch schedules.
-
Instant parent alerts
The parent gets a WhatsApp message the moment a student is marked absent — not in a weekly summary, when the habit is already established.
-
Exam score recording
Record scores per exam and per batch, with pass-rate and performance-trend tracking across the cohort.
-
Batch scheduling and timetable
Session schedules, teacher assignment and timetables per batch, so nobody is double-booked.
-
Feeds drop-risk
Attendance trend is one of the three signals behind AI drop-risk, alongside exam performance and fee history.
Drop-risk detection
Why immediacy matters
The first two weeks of slipping decide the rest
Drop-outs rarely start with a decision. They start with a few missed sessions that nobody mentioned, which become a habit, which becomes falling behind, which becomes a reason to leave. A message on the first day of absence interrupts that sequence at the only cheap point.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How is attendance marked?
Per session or per batch by the teacher or admin inside SCRMAI, including from a phone since the product is installable as a PWA. The parent alert fires from that action, so there is no separate step to remember.
Can parents see attendance themselves?
Yes. The student and parent portal shows attendance history alongside fees, exam results, report cards and certificates, which cuts down the "can you just check" phone calls to the front desk considerably.
Does it work for coaching batches as well as school classes?
Yes. Attendance is recorded against a batch or session, so a coaching institute marking a NEET morning batch and a school marking Class 9-B both work the same way.
Do the parent alerts cost extra?
They are WhatsApp messages sent through your own connected Meta WhatsApp Business account, so Meta’s conversation charges apply as they would for any message you send. SCRMAI does not add a per-message fee on top, and alerts are available on all plans.
